Our Beginners Adult Ballet classes are designed to improve your posture, coordination, balance and mobility and increase your strength and flexibility. They are designed for those who new to ballet, looking for a more gentle form of exercise or perhaps getting back into ballet after a break.
We work through traditional sections of a ballet class such as barre work, adage, turns and jumps and we include pilates and yoga exercises to build body awareness and develop good technique, leaving you feeling energised, lengthened, balanced and refreshed.
At Intune we are also proud to be a Silver Swans Licensed teacher which means we have been trained by the Royal Academy of Dance to deliver classes specially designed for older dancers.
Our classes are £10 per class and you can book whenever is convenient for you.

Adult Classes FAQ
I have not done dance before. Am I still able to join a class?
Absolutely! We have classes for all levels and offer options within the class t enable participants to choose which level they would like to work at.
What should I wear?
Dance or gym wear is fine. You can do the class in bare feet or socks but ballet or jazz shoes are advised to enable you to use your feet with the dexterity required of the dance style.
I have an injury. Will this affect my ability to take part?
In many cases participants with mild injuries are still able to participate and movements can be adapted. If you are unsure whether you should participate please contact us to discuss further or speak with your GP.
I have booked a class but I am no longer able to attend?
If you have paid for a class but you are not longer able to attend please let us know by 6.00pm the day before and we will be able to issue a refund or transfer your booking to another date. Refunds will not be issued after this time.
